We are a small firm that specializes in accounting and CFO services primarily but have third-party providers we work closely with who are experts in restaurant-specific tax deductions, including FICA tip credits, equipment depreciation, food donation credits, and renovation write-offs if you need help with taxes.
How do you handle payroll and tip reporting for restaurants?
We do not have in-house expertise in payroll but we refer you to some third-party providers who we work with closely to help manage all aspects of restaurant payroll, including proper tip reporting, tip pooling calculations, and compliance with tipped minimum wage requirements if you need help in this area.
